Some smart Presidential candidate should propose or create a corporation that would buy shares in a single utility. With enough shares sold, the corporation could buy enough shares in a utility to control it and agree to buy solar electricity at a sustainable rate. As that corporation succeeds in its mission to convert all or most customers to solar, it can go after the other utilities. That would lead to a customer-owned, nation-wide electrical utility.
